I Wanna Textify
I came as close as I ever have to resetting my consecutive blip total to zero and leaving a permanent gap last Thursday. I was taking some pictures of some dog roses growing in the front of a garden on the other side road that belongs to the cottage at the entrance to the cemetery.
I took them all at the closest focus my lens would allow, in anticipation of trying out a set of close-up lenses I had on order. Although they seemed to look fine in the optical viewfinder, when I reviewed them on the computer the next day they were all too close and were blurry. I played around with them, cropping and re-framing, applying filters and textures, all to no avail. Then I remembered a site called textify.it, which "visualizes images using text. Lots of text." Please note that the site converts the image into text; it does not overlay text onto the image, which would breach Blipfoto rules. I ran my blurry image through the site, trying out various options, and when I had saved that image I added more effects of my own, using FastStone.
This is the result. I photographed the dog roses again a couple of days later for comparison.
