ADVENTURES I LIKE
are sometimes around the corner. I do not like the adventure of flying, of sailing in rough weather (who does? my brother did), of following a path high in the mountains without a path below me that I can see and it goes on and on, at first I did not like the Channel Tunnel by train, nor by car, but that was no option at alll. This sums up already a lot and it's not what I intend to do now.
I like little adventures without risks, like this morning, a walk to the garden center to buy 5 little lavender plants, that I will take to-morrow with me to Karlshaven.
I walk around the pond, meet the waterbirds there and the people with the dogs, who do not fear the drizzly rain. After the centre (where I made my blip), I discover by chance a coot-family with 6 very young coots, it is in a dark ditch and I shoot several photos, which I fear are not the best, to say the least. Then going home I ponder if time is coming that I leave in this situations my auto-intelligence and start understanding better my camera and set it in a different modus, and what will happen then? What risk will I have to face and my mood sinks a bit.
Coming home I find that with picnic I can do a little good to my pictures and since I like the baby coot on the waterlilly leaf I think you may do that too and you can see it here.
