On the way home
Poor Molly has been in the wars again.
We left the chalet just after 9am, and before we started on the road home, there was a last walk alongside Loch Oude. No toys to throw in the water - they were all packed away, so we threw some stones for Jess & Molly to chase. Molly, unfortunately, decided that the stones were not as good as the toys (which floated) so she tried to catch one before it hit the water. Instead, the stone caught her - just above the eye and she was groggy for a while. Still, she managed to walk back to the car OK.
All during the walk and as we left Oban, it was a beautiful sunny day - just what you would hope from June. The skys were blackening as we went further East, and as so often, Tyndrum saw a dramatic change in the weather. Just a few minutes after we pulled into the Real Food Cafe for a pit-stop the heavens opened and we had to dash back to the car. Molly, thankfully, is looking none the worse for wear by now.
At last we get here. The holiday was lovely, but it is a relief to be back to a reliable Internet connection. The chalet had Wi-Fi, but it would often go down after just a few minutes. Blipping was sometimes very frustrating! I hope to be able to spend a bit more time in the next few days catching up with other peoples' blips.
