Gala Day

And the rains came down from start to finish! Its a bloomin shame as the gala committee works so hard to pull it all together and when the sun shines its a great day out for the whole village. We braved the rain on two occasions. The first for young master Jake's football final. This is the team before the match.
left to right, Conner, Callum, Jake, Goalie (who has slipped under my radar) Tyler and Sebby. All now in their last 3 weeks of primary school together. Sadly Balmullo lost 3-1 :( but hey, its only a game! One for the family album.

The second time we ventured out was for the Hill Race. An all age event where the villagers (not me obviously) run up to the top of Lucklawhill and back down. We ensconced ourselves in the beer tent for the duration and then nipped out to cheer Jake as he came in :) Best way on a day like this. He made good time and got a medal
