Birthday Greetings from Phil

Went into the local pharmacy to record the end of an era.  It's moving after sixty four years, but fortunately taking the lovely fittings round the corner to the new shop.

When I entered the shop this gentleman was the centre of attention and being roundly congratulated.  Turns out he has just celebrated his 90th birthday. He is English, though now a Blackheathen, and was in the navy before WWII with Prince Phillip, who sent him a birthday card.
He was most amused to tell me, in his best Prince Phillip voice, that it began, "It has been brought to my attention....."

Like Phil, he seems in rude health, and I suspect they'll both be around for the ton.
