Early winter - Lithgow

I took a few very ordinary photos today and have spent far too long trying to decide which to put up.

This is the spire of the Hoskins Memorial Church in Lithgow.  The church is beautiful, but is greatly enhanced by an extensive Sorenson garden.

Paul Sorenson was Danish born, but spent most of his life in Australia, where he designed beautiful gardens for grand homes and important buildings. It is very prestigious to be able to lay claim to a Sorenson garden, but most have been so diluted that they bear little resemblance to his original designs.
