purple poppy

once again, i'm amazed today...

walking the neighborhood, i spotted a purple poppy.

what?

i always thought poppies were orange.

purple! how cool is that? could it be for real? was i seeing things? was it really a poppy? i didn't have my glasses on.... so who knows what i was actually seeing... i've been known to make things up... but the closer i got, the more excited i became... it was a poppy - and, yes... it was the lightest shade of purples... boo!
