Cyclamen

Is it really only Wednesday? It seems more like a Thursday. It's been a very busy day at work, with lots of issues that need attention landing on my desk, so maybe that's why it feels later in the week than it actually is.

I have this plant on my kitchen windowsill. My sister gave it to me when she was visiting at the beginning of this year, when it was in flower. It has long since finished flowering, but I am managing to keep it alive and who knows, maybe it will grace me with blooms again next winter. In the meantime, it is still a thing of beauty - the shape of the leaves and the way they hang down over the edge of the pot. I just hope I don't kill it!
