This is a view of my neighbour's garden now that the new owners have painted the fences cream - this is what it looked like last year. I think I prefer the darker fences to the cream one, but I said I'd let you see it, so now you can make up your own mind.

The whole of our library service had a day of talks and workshops at our Rochester campus today. Apart from the early start (a 7.30 coach from Farnham), it was a very good day, meeting some new faces and catching up with colleagues we don't get to see very often. The theme of the day was working collaboratively, and there was plenty of food for thought in the presentations and workshops, especially the one given by a jazz musician who got us all singing together. Corny, I know, but lots of fun!

The evening - not so good, but that's life.
