First pizza - warts and all!

I am really exposing my Achilles heel here! I've never made pizza before and thought it was time I had a go. Inspired by my recent interest in vegetarian cooking and new book I devoted most of the afternoon to the activity. (I must admit to adding a slice or two of chorizo) Although not the most confident of cooks, when in the mood I enjoy an occasional challenge. I have to say this was a steep learning curve and the results met with a mixed reception. To quote the man of the house, 'that's a helluva pizza dear' as it came out of the oven. A postmortem was held at the end of the meal and suggestions made as to how it could be improved. It will be interesting to see what happens to the remains, a rather large slice!
