Sisterly love, Madame et Signorita
Another exciting day with our version of the tour de France, managing to avoid the rain, hail and thunderstorms, so welcome this merry month of erm June. Eldest therefore cycled up all the way to the childminder's and then to school. This time there was no need for a drink until we arrived, which shows we are getting more used to climbing.
Another palpitating day at work, where plates spun, I watched them precariously while trying to keep others turning, more or less, I managed to get out for a wander later than planned but fresh air nonetheless. Crazy scenes back home as I juggled a stir fry, some egg fried rice and some dim sum. There are times when I wish I could get a cook in to help prepare my meals for me. As I never buy lottery tickets, I shall rely on someone buying one on my behalf, all cheques can be made payable to Club107.
So this picture is special to me, I have to say. When you leave a country, as more people do these days, you always live a bit of a dilemma, stay or go back from whence you came. There is always a pull to the other country, currently given the exceptional weather we have been enjoying, my thoughts are in warmer climes. Where was I, you leave, others leave and then families become more fragmented than they are in general. And meeting up becomes more difficult, with family, and good grief when you make friends it is a journey where you can never be 100% content, but that is life a compromise.
These two women were so close as sisters when they were younger and geographically have moved apart. Get them back together though and it is as if they were never separated. I actually continued my polyptych but far preferred the joys of finding your loved ones again. Next time we meet, I'm not sure where or when it will be, but it will be business as usual.
