The Black Menace, Cows and Me

I have had a rip roaring May and early June- kids birthdays, album launch, London rock out, best mate's birthday.

So today was nice in a different way cos I got a chance to do sweet FA! But I did it with my main man on four legs, The Black Menace. He stuck to me like glue. As I type he is lying close by.

He is a loyal dog. He sneaks into my wife's spot in bed if she gets up early. This worries me on several levels. He has not, as yet, tried on any of her clothes however.

This panorama is part of our regular man and dog world. The cows. They are interested in the wee hairy calf who is supernaturally fast. I once tried racing him on my bike. I was going downhill and pedalling on lowest gear and he still beat me. If I could get him to do it on two legs, Scotland could win the 100m at the next Olympics.

Although 28 extra years for a dog might put him in the veteran category...
