Tonsilitis

So tonsilitis it is and penicillin we have. Despite appearances Carys has been better today, well at least she has stayed awake all day but then she didn't wake until 08.50, which is unheard of in our house (06.30 being a lie in). Bunged up nose, runny eyes, poorly tummy, headache. the only thing she hasn't complained of is a sore throat. How strange.

The thing that told me that she wasn't well was that she put up no fight when I said she wasn't going to Nursery or Ballet class today. We'll see what happens tomorrow when I say she isn't going to her swimming lesson.

So another day in the house apart from trip to the GP's and then the camping exhibition. I intended to buy the tent. A reasonable nights sleep on it had convinced us of its merits. Only to find out they had sold out of them, including all the stock they were supposed to take to the next exhibition.

I have bought it on line now but am rueing the £50 wasted on not being decisive on the day.
