Snow bunting
(See yesterday for start of story!)
Set off from Derry Lodge and headed for Corrour bothy then up to the Devil's Point, Cairn Toul and Angel's Peak. It started out fairly bright but the cloud slowly descended to about 1,100m, meaning only the latter 2 were in cloud but it was generally rather grey.
Some interesting plants and I thought I'd missed my chance on Cairn Toul when the snow bunting refused to co-operate but on the final descent of the day to our high campsite one posed beautifully on the edge of the cliff and I managed several quite good shots, this one being the best.
It was a chilly evening camped just about a glacial lochan with ptarmigan croaking outside but snug in the tent.
