Evening at Derry Lodge

The start of a 2 day back-packing trip in the Cairngorms.
We walked in from the carpark in the early evening after a very hot (for this part of the world) day. Up with the tent, out with the stove and tea cooked and eaten - and the sun was finally beginning to go down giving a lovely glow to everything.
We made the most of it as we'd heard the forecast for the next day.
