Musicians' Break

My favorite among our local bands is Oubliette Ensemble, which plays a lot of Medieval music as well as some original material. An oubliette was an underground prison cell of the Middle Ages, wherein the prisoner would scream and starve and die, unheard and forgotten. This group sounds much happier notes, and are very familiar to music lovers of the neighborhood. Here they pause for a smoke and a stretch across the street from our weekly Farmer Market. I keep meaning to buy one of their T-shirts.
