Nana

Kaz left early this morning to go down to Traralgon while I waited for Cheryl to get here to look after Spence. Spence had a good sleep last night and slept through the whole night, waking up at 7.30 this morning! He usually wakes up at least once a night and comes into our room so it was great to have a good sleep!

Cheryl arrived and I left at about 11am and met Kaz down at the house. She was into it and had started undercoating! We brought a white board with us today to write down all the tasks that we wanted to get done! I find it really helpful because there is a goal to work towards and then an item to tick off when it is complete!

Steve was there today working on the bathroom which is coming along nicely! He has done more tiling and installed the vanity unit! He also helped me replace the plaster above the bench top in the kitchen so that we can tile over the top of it. I pretty much finished the sanding today and most of the washing of the walls. We undercoated bedroom 2 and part of bedroom 1.

We are 31% done after today's efforts, up from 27% yesterday!!

We have written out the tasks for tomorrow and they are on the white board already! Our friends Clare and Cindy are meeting us down there tomorrow to give us a hand painting which will be great!! We are hoping to have all the undercoating done and some of the topcoat! Hopefully four pairs of hands will get lots done!

Kaz and I got home just after 6 tonight and Cheryl had made tea and had had a great day with Spence! I was going to post another photo of the renovation today but instead went and took a shot of Cheryl with Spence as he was meant to be cleaning his teeth! They were having lovely cuddles in the bathroom!!

Hoping for an early night tonight so we can leave at about 7.30 in the morning to get a start on the painting tomorrow!
