street cleaning!

once a year - our streets are cleaned... As you can see - they are not particularly dirty. Other streets are buried in grit - but they have the grit trucks.......

It used to be a fairly genteel affair - the chaps in the fluorescent coats would knock on your door to ask whose car is in the road... not anymore - everything gets towed with a fine!. 2-3 days notice changed to the night before. I think to catch us out - tow trucks cruise around looking for victims........ not fun any more....
