rainy season

sounds like a bit of a litany - but after the freeze comes the meltwater from the hills (that will be appearing next month) and from the rain - the river level gets pretty high. The Bow is dammed just upstream - but things can get a bit tight -and it rained for several days last week... the guy could be doing the King Canute but really he is trying to ignore the river and resurface the cycle path....
