We made it to the Taj Mahal!!! :) And I'm extra glad that I can upload this photo because something happened on a computer and my camera that makes none of my photos show up, so I thought we'd lost them all!

The Taj was amazing. We arrived in Agra at 6am and went straight there, and it's more stunning than you can describe. It's gigantic and beautiful and surreal, and the inscriptions on it are so detailed and delicate and well designed. It was still early while we were there so it was quite quiet, and we got the chance to just sit and look at it for ages (while falling asleep...). After this we went for breakfast on a rooftop near the Taj, and were able just to stare at it! It was great! In the afternoon we went to the fort and hired a guide, which was well worth it. Then it was time to get on another train, this time to Jaipur. We met some nice Australians who we spent a lot of the journey with, apart from when the train conductor made us move back to our seats! Apparently it's too dangerous for Westerners to sit at the doors of trains as well, since when we were peeling our cucumbers out of the door we were told to move as well. Racism!

42 degrees

And yes, I know it's not straight. Bloody camera!!!!!!!
