Too Pure

Do you know how tempted I was to buy this?

Went for a Monday trip down to Samuel Burns & Co in Prestonpans (thanks to Temple Tours for the tip) on the hunt for some bargains, it's an amazing scrap yard full of everything you could imagine. Picked up some nice tables and a foot stool all for £13 - bargain indeed.

Too Pure appears to have been consumed by 4AD these days, but in the early 90's they discovered a couple of crackers - PJ Harvey and Stereolab. They then seemed to move into a similar territory to those covered by Fierce Panda yesterday, a bit NWONW (Voodoo Queens), a bit experimental shouty indie (Long Fin Killie) and a sprinkling of electronics (Mouse on Mars). What's the link to today's image? Well they also released tunes by The Organ.
