Iris

After the weekend's exertions and wanderings today was a fairly relaxing day. Wandered around the garden and got some floral blipshots. Later we had a long walk along the track edging the loch, saw a heron several times ( or was it several herons at different spots) . Couldn't believe how warm it was and such beautiful blue skies. Off course , because I was fairly happy with the floral shots ,I had decided to leave the camera at home and just enjoy the walk.

So tonight's blip was a choice of blue geraniums or the yellow flag iiris growing by the pond. I liked the way the iris was back lit by the sun's rays through the rose hedging so it got my vote tonight. Hope you like it.
