Lightening McQueen drops by

Well look who I found hanging around our lounge; none other than the star of the Cars film, Lightening McQueen.

It is my son's 4th birthday tomorrow and we bought this helium balloon for him and it is massive. We have had to hide it away since yesterday so I am well chuffed that he hasn't found it yet. As it is half-term here, we are heading off for a week in our caravan so, although he will get this tomorrow morning, he will have to say farewell for a few days as there is no way I am taking this thing in the caravan with us.

I am hoping that we will find facilities to submit out blips while we are away but may have to resort to a bit of back blipping on our return. We are both well and truly ready for a break due to all the disruption we have had in the lounge and garden projects that have taken up so much of our time and energy recently. So if it turns out that we spend a wet week on the Norfolk coast, then so be it, at least it will not be a wet week here.
