One year on

Up to London today to meet a friend to go round a textile exhibition. It was very busy in London - I hadn't realise that there was a practice of the Trooping of the Colour today, plus it is the Barcelona v Man Utd match tonight so there were MASSES of Spanish around. Stupidly, we decided to go to La Tasca for lunch, forgetting that it would probably be full of Spaniards, but it certainly made for a very atmospheric lunch, even if we couldn't hear ourselves talk for some of the time due to the singing! Anyway, a great day out. And we raised a glass of wine at lunch to celebrate the fact that I've been in my house for a whole year as of today.
