Police Demonstration

Today the police union GDP and 17 other unions mobilised about 2000 demonstrators in Magdeburg. They protested against against job slash and for the harmonisation of their loans.

The employees of the police earn the smallest loan compared to all other poclice employees in Germany. In 2007 jobs shall be cutted, so that less young policemen will be available for services.

Besides the policemen also firefighters, teachers, judical officers and other employees of the public service where participating in the protest.
