Back flip blip!

Work in the morning then took rest of the day off. Went with chubby hubby who is also working in Inverness but who had a day off so we took off and headed for Aviemore. We took the doggies for a nice swim and plod in Loch Morlich, then we had tea up at the Cairngorm mountin cafe. didnt go up the funicular as it as wet and dull, some other time perhaps.
Then we drove back to Nairn along all the back roads I used when I worked up there 35 years ago and finally ended up at Houshill Farm where I worked which is now a farm shop. Gone is the big grain auger that almost killed me when I tripped and fell in while the auger was working. For those of you not familiar with these things this was like a giant corkscrew that went round at a Hell of a rate sooking up grain. AS I was sinking fast down the pit I had an unpleasant vision that I was going to be minus a leg if not two legs! Quick thinking on my part saved my life as I still had the spade in my hand, I used the T bar at the top of the spade to latch onto the low wall that was by this time almost above me and fear made me haul myself back to the top! That has to have been one of my scariest moments ever.
Today Mr Auger was no longer there thank God.
We gave doggles another run on Nairn beach as in above pic. This is them about to do a back flip when Hubs threw a stick.
Dropped him off at his work and I drove home to Argylyy. A good day even though I drove over 300 hundred miles.

Balachulish tomorrow!
