Strawberry Goodness

Picked some big ones in the dome today, we had eaten a bunch before I could grab a blip.

Long day in the sun, pouring cement with my Dad for new posts to fix our horse shed. The roof collapsed last year from the heavy snow. We are reinforcing and altering to include a room for me to milk in and have a kidding stall.

I promised Bela we could make cinnamon rolls from scratch tonight. OI VAY what have I done, I'm already exhausted. It's 6pm and we will bake, make dinner then hopefully settle for a movie while happily chewing on Sweetness.

This holiday weekend is a work weekend. Sunday we frame the roof and new headers. Yes I'm a woman but I was the General Contractor when we built this house so I know a lot more about building then I should. My Dad raised me through High School and being a girl never stopped him from teaching me how to build, work on cars and do yard work. I appreciate it now but when I was a Teenager I hated it.
