Miss you long time...

One of my bessie mates and her beautiful family are leaving for the more twinkly shores of Perth Australia.

I feel ultimately supportive and know if the tables were turned I would do the same. But damnit, I will miss her and her husband and her two kids, who I have known since birth. More than anything, I will miss the fun we have together.

It takes a long time, a lot of nights out, a lot of problems churned over and dissected and a lot of major life-changing moments to make a good friendship. History. These things, that seem so easy and natural at the time, are not actually that easy to come by.

This photo is of my daughter and her daughter Isla having, potentially one of their last plays together. They already have the makings of good pals. Lets hope the miles between them don't hinder that and they can become bessies too.
