lazy in the sand

i started off my vacation with a picture of my feet in the airport and now the sun is winding down tomorrow.

this is the first real vacation that i have had since i started working two years ago. as i was driving a speed boat through the jungle of cancun this morning, i finally realized what that feeling is that people get when they say they just want to retire down here.
i like it. i like the slow pace, i like not wearing a rain jacket 360 days out of the year.
i like drinking a beer at 11 in the morning. so what?

i'm obviously no where near retirement, but i wouldn't mind working to earn my keep down here, right?

i wonder what i could do...
