Grand Opening at TCC Norfolk Student Center

Dropped my daughter off this morning at the Norfolk Student Center on the downtown Norfolk Tidewater Community College campus to help with today's OPEN HOUSE.

She will be volunteering with other Student Government volunteers on this big opening day. This 55,000 sf space for students will be a fantastic addition to an already happening downtown redevelopment effort going on in Norfolk, VA.

I like the curved glass facade and building's overhang for when it rains and added shelter from the sun.

I hope someone institutes a "no gum chewing" zone ~ as so often and so quickly the newness of the fresh construction and is marred by the ugly black globs of expelled chewing gum ~ just an idea.
