kilneuair church,

hidden up an old path that goes from loch awe to loch fyne, this was such an unexpectedly lovely place to find.

this is actually a burial enclosure, but it was the beautiful carvings & triangular window spaces that enchanted me!

and in the church itself, and just outside, were some beautifully carved grave slabs, as good as those found at kilmartin . i wonder why they haven't been removed to be under cover for their own protection?
