Scrabble

I didn't go out today, except to the grocery store and the liquor store. I have been promising to make us Irish Stew ever since... well probably St Patrick's day. The shin of beef was procured weeks ago and frozen, just needed some Guinness, some thyme and some onions... Anyway, everything's in place at last, I'm ready to go when I read the recipe again... this is supposed to cook for 3 hours!?! Of course, deep down in the recesses of my small brain I knew that... So we ate sausages cooked on the grill while the stew was stewing. Took until 9.30. We will have a delicious meal tomorrow, I'm sure :)
