Apocalypse Not
The world didn't end yesterday, and little rapture was in evidence this morning in Caffe Nero Stockbridge where some twit too fond of his own voice was giving the entire place the benefit of his knowledge of the NHS. God, I nearly apocalypsed him.
But then we had a lovely (albeit short, due to the crappy cold blustery weather that shows no sign of abating after two weeks) walk along the Water of Leith, which looked and sounded a bit heavenly. Due to the beauty of the sounds encountered there (birds mostly, but also the river itself), I have resolved in future to carry my Flip video camera with me as well as my wee Lumix at all times. I will then start posting again to my Blogspot pages, which are currently out of use.
I was going to give you the benefit of my opinion on 'judgemental' religions, but having sat through someone else's uninvited opinions today, I won't inflict mine on you after all. Except to say that I don't particularly approve.
Anyhow, I thought that this blip looked a bit sinister and apocalyptic, so here you are. And there you go :o)
And don't worry, apparently they are allotments in the making, not some kind of mass burial site. Or so we've been told; personally, I suspect that the lizards are still bent on world domination.
No, I feel fine - honest.
