yesterday's blip?
Yesterday's challenge theme was 'books', and mine was a bit tenuous, so today's features my two new purchases - 'two wheels' by Matt Seaton, a collection of cycling articles from his column in the Guardian, and 'Bicycle Diaries' by David Byrne (yes, the former Talking Heads frontman). I blipped this in the in-house cafe at Blackwell's bookshop on South Bridge, Edinburgh.
I always need some non-fiction among my holiday reading, and of course the Tour de France is on the horizon, yippee! For anyone who hasn't followed it, I urge you to catch Channel 4's (or ITV's?) evening summary - there's nothing quite like it for drama, amazing characters, scandal, and it has the added advantage of a well-informed and often hilarious commentary team. Give it a chance and I bet you'll get addicted!
Now I've gone and talked about the TdF instead of books.
