High ISO and heavily cropped but since it is the first fledgling starling to be brought to the garden, it has to be the blip for today. It makes me laugh that the chicks are almost as big as the parents but still expect to be fed.

The garden has really come alive in the past few days. I now have a song thrush as a regular visitor and yesterday two goldfinch called in. I have never seen goldfinch in this area before.

This fledgling landed on the washing line and got a bit of a surprise when it sagged. One of the parents flew up to steady the line.
