What day did I take this.... Oh yes - Tuesday!

Its now Friday and I've finished work and am now counting down to my holiday getaway next Tuesday.

I found this in my hotel room, which was good as I couldn't be bothered going out looking for any good blips. It had been a really long day. For more useless facts about my long day, read on below.

0345 Wake up, quick shower and shave and check out of hotel at South Shields.

0415. Leave hotel and drive to Jarrow fuel terminal.

0430. Arrive on site and start off with a safety induction (surely this could have been done on Monday).

0530. Finally start work after death by powerpoint.

1330. Leave Jarrow site and drive down to Nottingham.

1610. Arrive on site at Nottingham and receive another death by powerpoint induction.

1800. Leave site and pop to Morrissons to buy food for next day.

1815. Emma rings for a chat (probably wondering where I was as I would have normally rang home by now).

1830. Finally check into hotel.

No wonder I was dog tired by the end of all this.

The Ostrich burger and chips that I had for tea was rather tasty - along with the very nice pint of John Smiths!
