Expecting rain - John Beltran

I didn't think I had a lot of free time today so I opted for a quick shot down behind the college. As it turned out though my last class of the day from 2.30 - 4.30 didn't turn up, so I could have headed home at 1pm and got on with preparing for classes who do bother to turn up.

Anyway, todays track is from the album "Americano" by John Beltran. I got my first John Bltran record in the early nineties at a time when I was buying just about anything by Detroit based producers. He really stood out at the time as, while everyone else was doing hard dance floor oriented techno, he was producing laid back very melodic electrionica. From the first record I bought I grabbed everything I could get my hands on by him.

Unfortunately I couldn't find this track but here's another by him, or alternatively have a look at his Myspace page to get a taster of his music.
