Take a seat.
This is a new sculpture in my local river valley. I rather like it. I started the day with a bit of gardening and got my veg patch in good order, so I decided a trip down to the valley was a good idea. As I'd hoped, the weather improved and was mainly fine and sunny after 2pm. The Rivelin is one of Sheffield's 5 Rivers and it's pretty good for wildlife. Today I saw a heron, several grey wagtails, chiffchaffs, a nuthatch bringing food to the nest, several broods of mallard and moorhen ducklings, long-tailed tit fledglings, jays and a ridiculous number of robins. The chair was near the end of my walk, so not far from my house. It sits midstream on a concrete slab, which looks a bit stark, but will certainly weather in no time.
