Renovation Day 1!

Home from work this morning to pack the car, take Spence to daycare then off to the real estate to pick up the keys to our Traralgon house!! We got the asbestos kit out and took down the front asbestos fence and bagged it all up. By the time we had done that and then taken it to the tip it was lunch time! We spent the rest of the afternoon smashing down the rest of the paling fence and putting the wood into the trailer.

We have decided that everything generally takes double the time we think it will!! Hopefully that doesn't mean that the renovation will take 20 weeks since we are hoping to do it in 10! Kaz is going to work from there tomorrow so that she is there when the guy is coming to take away all the trees we chopped down the other day, then Spence is in daycare again Friday so that Kaz and I can be there to finish the fence and start on pulling out the plaster! Dad is also going to come over and help us with a few things!

I took this on the home this morning. It was 5C (41F) and the mist was laying around!
