cancun: day 1

the girls were chomping at the bit to get down to the beach as soon as we got to the hotel.
it's been extremely windy and down right chilly - especially on the beach. they loved it all the same and were running around in circles nonstop.

i liked this photo because i think it captures their personalities.
caroline is always on the go - she doesn't stop for very long and her energy never decreases.
evie, on the other hand, is very meticulous and will spend hours concentrating on perfecting the project at hand.

night and day. just like their mom and i are, i guess.. but in a different way.
