Thank you for all the stars and favourites on yesterday's blip; that was and is very much appreciated! Since there was so much interest in the Big Stopper filter I'll tell something more about it.

The Big Stopper filter is manufactured by Lee. More information can be found on their website here. Lee makes great products. They are made by hand and that shows in both the price and availability. I was lucky to be able to get the Big Stopper but if you would order this filter today, or one of the ND grad filters, it will take a very long time. I have ordered a set of ND grad filters in January and I'm still waiting for them. My colleague and fellow blipper Niels has ordered his set of ND grads in November and he is also still waiting... But in my opinion, it's worth the wait as I think they are so much better than anything else I have seen. I also own a set of Cokin ND grads, but these tend to change the colours in the image way too much.

Today was a nice lazy Sunday. Nienke was riding a pony at my in-laws and I watched the last round of the Dutch football (soccer) competition. After the game, I went outside to get this shot, once again done with the Big Stopper. Only a little bit of processing was done on this shot. The colour version can be found on my blog here.
