My garden sheds need some loving care this summer. This particular style of painting is known as 'distressed' in the trade and I have a friend who used to make a fortune decorating things to look like this - she also used a product called 'scumble' which is a great word.

I liked this shot because of the dappled leaf shadow from a nearby tree. That and the lovely texture of the wood. Repainting to commence soon :0)
