Durham City

Went to visit my folks today back 'home'.
All my city blips are of Newcastle as most of the things i do involve going to tyne & wear.
However, i grew up in Durham and still live in County Durham so thought i should take some Photos of the city while i was there.

Can't remember the last time i went into the city.
Even as a teenager living 4 miles to the south it seemed better to hop on a bus or a train to newcastle.
Then, by the time i passed my driving test the robins Cinema had shut, you had to paid to park, if you could get parked that is and the shops etc sucked.
No HMV!! just ourprice (this was before itunes and napster, online shopping full stop actually).
This all meant that the metro Centre 20minutes up the road was the place to go.

Used to have a good ice hockey team you know!!


Took the shot too early today. Sun was in the wroung place so had to over expose. Doh!
