Zeki's art.

Zeki is developing a style of his own. This pastel drawing is the "brother" of an earlier piece of work, sure to be featured here on blipfoto one day. He looks like a real tough guy with dodgy eyes, missing tooth and the dog. I wonder what a art psychologist would have to say about it!

It's a no news day today. My other son did make me proud today however. He came with me to work this morning ( no school for him again.) and I spotted him reading books with a younger boy from my class. First he was reading a Turkish book and then he translated an English book into Turkish for the benefit of the little boy. It warmed my heart. Here in Turkey the rôle of Abi is very important. This means older brother and children are encouraged to refer to their close in age elders in this way. Ali fulfilled the rôle perfectly this morning. Let's hope he can do the same with his real little brother later on!
