Finding dinosaurs.

This week my class is doing a dinosaur project. They were very excited to be told that they were to become paleontologists for the day and try to discover there very own dinosaur bones in our playground.

This is what, as a team, they discovered! (The smaller bones look rather familiar from last weeks chicken dinner!)

I can't think of a better way to bring the concept alive and for the children to form an understanding of how dinosaurs were discovered. I'm sure this will be one day from their childhood that they'll remember!
