Quintessential spring day!
The most beautiful of spring days is what we enjoyed today. Sunny-blue-skies and a temperature in the mid-seventies. It was a gift, and I enjoyed it immensely. After a walk in the park this morning, I went to a track meet with Bob in the afternoon, and the sun shone the entire day. If I had put in an order for today's weather, this is exactly what I would have ordered.
Now it is bedtime and I don't have the energy left to check my Birds of North America to identify this lovely little bird. I think it may be either a white crowned sparrow or a female redwing blackbird that doesn't in the least resemble her mate. If anyone has a better ID, please let me know. I will check it out when I'm not so sleepy.
