Telephone Exchange?

Went back to Iona today to walk across to the southern side towards a bay where St Columbus is supposed to have landed.
On the way back came across this BT hut very securely anchored down. Not sure if it is the exchange, but according to the sign it is very important!
Thought this would be a suitable blip instead of yet another coastal scene.
