Woke to rain and wind making the bird feeders near horizontal. Late morning set off to visit Iona as weather seemed to be improving. Walked to the western end via a detour to a view point to find sandy beaches and lots of different coloured rocks.
Walked round the Abbey where I found these sandstone pillars, a 19th century addition. Hence my blip instead of yet another coastal scene.
