Riding High On A Windy Day

Felt the desperate need to get away from things again today, so ended up walking up to Caton Moor wind farm. Surprisingly enough, it's a trifle breezy up there, and the turbines were in full swing, so to speak. The sound of the blades slicing through the air above your head is incredible, as is the view across a quarter of Lancashire in one direction and Cumbria in another.

What's not incredible is noticing how dark the clouds are, especially when you're entirely in summerwear with no wet weather gear.
