Afternoon in the Park

Having this morning arrived in Beijing, I decided to go for a relatively brief visit, so went to the Temple of Heaven. Seniors in Beijing are allowed into the park around the temple for free, so are frequently seen doign something recreational. As well as some ladies doing what I can only presume was tai chi, there were benches and benches of people playing cards, knitting or chatting. Clearly a popular way to spend the afternoon.
